Beyond Yoga Adventures’ mission is to cultivate mindfulness in each participant so that their inherent health and compassion continues to blossom.

About  
Monique Limoges, RYT

Studying in Dharamshala, India Monique Limoges has been practicing yoga and meditation for 10 years and has been a registered instructor with Yoga Alliance since 2008.  Monique’s work, developing mindfulness within participants, includes one-on-one sessions, group workshops, mindful outdoor retreats, as well as public speaking events.  She has been guiding hiking and white-water adventures in the Canadian Rockies since 2002 and considers herself lucky to call Canmore, Alberta home.

Beyond Yoga Adventures 

Early  morning in Dharamsala, India the sun is beginning to warm her face as it rises over the mountain tops. Eyes lowered, each deep breath encompassing the mountain air.  Seated meditation, the sun warms her from the inside out.  That is the moment Monique, founder of Beyond Yoga Adventures, knew she had to share with others.  

By returning to a practice of our essential breath we build a different relationship with ourselves and all of life’s many stresses.  Beyond Yoga Adventures emphasizes investigate work creates the space for these moments of reflection and observation  time and time again. 

 The intention in her own practice and in  all Beyond Yoga Adventures workshops, one-on-one sessions and retreats is a desire to create space for self reflection, an opportunity to unwind from our busy lives, connect with nature, and nourish our physical bodies.
